Dalai Lama Tickets Updates!

Dear Members,

GSA has just informed me that ASEAN GSA have secured tickets for the Dalai Lama event on Sept. 19th. All members who have submitted their names to me before August 17th can be rest assurred that you do have a ticket to the event. I will be picking up our tickets soon (within this week) and will send another email to you with regards on how to claim your ticket from me (Sherene Cheah).

For members who did not sign up to obtain tickets to the Dalai Lama speech with ASEAN GSA, you can still obtain a ticket from UB.

Please find below the schedule and venue of UB student ticket distribution. Please note that tickets to the event are free to all current UB students!

Limit of 1 ticket per Student. Valid UB ID required. Tickets will be available at all scheduled distribution sessions.

A free Dalai Lama commemorative poster will be given to the 1st 4,000 students to pick up tickets!

Welcome back!!

Dear Members,

A warm welcome back to each and everyone of you to a brand new school year. I believe that many of you have had a relaxing summer break, if not a fairly industrious one.

The 2006-2007 academic year is off to an exciting start with a historic visit from His Holiness the Dalai Lama. ASEAN GSA is not missing out on this event and together with the entire UB community we will be there to witness this special event.

ASEAN GSA is coordinating with GSA in getting tickets with seats in the same section for members. If you are interested in witnessing and participating in this historic moment with us, please contact Sherene Cheah at spcheah@buffalo.edu to reserve your ticket as soon as possible.
